Compensation: Per-Visit ⎸$36-$40 (based on years of experience)
Scheduling: Monday-Friday ⎸Full-Time (Weekends available but not required)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant

(PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside a licensed

Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that helps residents

improve mobility, increase strength, restore function, and maintain their independence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to the established plan of care.
  • Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and mobility interventions to help residents achieve their functional goals.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Accurately complete documentation and treatment notes using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and safety strategies
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Maintain a full-caseload while providing compassionate, high-quality therapy services
 

Qualifications

  • Current State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Previous experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing is preferred but not required
